+#ifndef HAVE_SYS_TYPES_H

This should not be needed. Configure should do the apropriate check for these
types. Are all these types defined in sys/types.h on NetBSD?

+#if defined (__NetBSD__)
+ /* Fixme add bpf support */
+#else /* __NetBSD__ */
+struct sockaddr_ll sll;
+#endif /* __NetBSD__ */
#endif /* HAVE_ETH_PHY */

Here again you should grok autoconf into checking if the present method of doing
things is availible or not instead of just checking NetBSD. Do any of the other
BSDs support the current code?

void reg_gpio_sec(void)
{
- struct config_section *sec = reg_config_sec("gpio", NULL, NULL);
+ struct config_section *sec = reg_config_sec("gpio", gpio_sec_start, gpio_sec_end);

Thanks for catching that one! Do you actually use the gpio peripheral? If so
does it work as expected? (I only ask because when I cleaned it up I didn't have
anything to test it with...)

nog.

This is temporey hack until i will get to the point of emulating the
network, then i will implement it. This is a major change in the code
we will not escape from using some kind of #if ... #endif it can be
#if defined (__NetBSD__) || defined (__OpenBSD__) || defined (__FreeBSD__)
or add autoconf check for HAVE_NET_BPF_H. As far as I know all BSD
have bpf. bpf is used by dhcp.

I did not do any test on it.

or1ksim diff set for NetBSD support and minor bugs
by Unknown on Mar 13, 2005
Not available!
NetBSD does not have PF_PACKET so for now the code is ignored in NetBSD,
there is a need to write bpf implementation (Berkeley Packet Filter
raw network interface) to have same functionality as PF_PACKET.

Best Regards,

Nir Mor.

+#ifndef HAVE_SYS_TYPES_H
+

This should not be needed. Configure should do the appropriate check for these
types. Are all these types defined in sys/types.h on NetBSD?

Yes.

+#if defined (__NetBSD__)
+ /* Fixme add bpf support */
+#else /* __NetBSD__ */
+struct sockaddr_ll sll;
+#endif /* __NetBSD__ */
#endif /* HAVE_ETH_PHY */

Here again you should grok autoconf into checking if the present

method of doing
things is availible or not instead of just checking NetBSD. Do any

of the other
BSDs support the current code?

This is temporey hack until i will get to the point of emulating the
network, then i will implement it. This is a major change in the code
we will not escape from using some kind of #if ... #endif it can be
#if defined (__NetBSD__) || defined (__OpenBSD__) || defined (__FreeBSD__)
or add autoconf check for HAVE_NET_BPF_H. As far as I know all BSD
have bpf. bpf is used by dhcp.

void reg_gpio_sec(void)
{
- struct config_section *sec = reg_config_sec("gpio", NULL, NULL);
+ struct config_section *sec = reg_config_sec("gpio",

gpio_sec_start, gpio_sec_end);

Thanks for catching that one! Do you actually use the gpio peripheral? If so
does it work as expected? (I only ask because when I cleaned it up I

didn't have
anything to test it with...).

I did not do any test on it.

Nir.
