hi, all,
i am compiling gcc4.5.1 from latest version in svn/trunk

after compiling successfully, i run:
make check
then there comes error like this:
Autogen T ../../gcc-4.5.1-fixincludes/check.tpl ../../gcc-4.5.1-fixincludes/include.def
Make[2]:execvp: autogen:Permission denied

what kind of permission i need, it's ok when i run make check when comiling binutils.

i find if i skip this step and just make install, it will install ok,
so i can just skip it?

thanks !

addition:
when make check when compiling gdb7.2 from svn/trunk:
/bin/sh: runtest: command not found
also, if i skip this step, make install is also ok

Hi czzheng

To run the tests you need DejaGnu installed (runtest is part of this). Embecosm Application Note 8 is a quick introduction to testing with DejaGnu which may help you get started.

I suggest you only run "make check" with the or32-elf tool chain using Or1ksim for now. To test using real hardware or to test or32-linux tool chain requires additional configuration.
