Hi,

I am building Openrisc GDB7.2 source on linux x86 machine, is there some reference available for configurations options to be provided for --host=i386, --target=XXX and --build=XXX options?

The easiest way is just to check out the svn repo at opencores and run ./bld-all.sh from the gnu-src directory. That takes care of setting the correct flags and building the complete toolchain. You will however need the linux tree and uclibc from git.openrisc.net

--build=build-type
the type of system on which the package is being configured and compiled (rarely needed);
--host=host-type
the type of system on which the package will run;
--target=target-type
the type of system for which any compiler tools in the package will produce code.

in case of build or32 cross toolchain for linux box.
just specify --target, other options(--host, --build) automatically configured by default value(your build system).

also, you can find reference in or32 toolchain build script.
