I use the command : % dump binary memory mydump.bin 0x100 0x1000 But the result is : % Cannot access memory at address 0x100 Why?? Actually i can run the program from 0x100. Pls help me. Thx a lot! |

Hi dinsh Could you post the full trace of your gdb session, and the program you were debugging at the time. Thanks Jeremy

Hi drmicrotiger Please post a trace of your session. For example if you are debugging a program called "myprog", run GDB as follows to capture a trace in /tmp/log, and then attach /tmp/log to a message here. or32-elf-gdb myprog 2>1 | tee /tmp/log I'll take a look and see if I can understand why you have a problem. Best wishes, Jeremy |

Can you even examine (read) memory with the following?

Hi,
This problem/bug is only occurring when using the "or_debug_proxy". Using OpenOCD works fine, but installing OpenOCD on Ubuntu 12.04 was not accordingly to the installation guide (needed modifications). /Marcus |
