ORSoC Ordb2a-ep4ce22 power supply

Hi,
i have a question concerning the power supply of the new ORSoC board. I want to use external power by JP2. So i populate R1 and remove R2 (USB power), right? Or can i populate both R1 and R2? (i think not) |

Yes, that is what R1 and R2 are for. While you technically could populate them both, you would have to take care not to power the 5V net from multiple directions. This would allow you to power a daughterboard with direct 5V from the USB, for instance.
