I have some code running on ARM7-TDMI-S that uses SPI and I2C peripheral.
Would like to port it to OpenRISC. Have anybody tried porting/compiling ARM7 code to OpenRISC? If yes, which compiler did you use? GCC, or? If yes, what kind of issues have you bumped into? Appreciate any tip and advice. |

However IIRC, ARM is usually little-endian, while OpenRISC is big-endian by default, so there is plenty of scope for endian bugs. The peripherals are presumably not identical, so you'll need to adjust the code accordingly. Best wishes, Jeremy
