I have done some testing with ORPSoC to my LX9.
Unfortunately the FPGA is really small , so could only fit debug interface, uart and a stripped down CPU. With the ethernet mac included it used about 170% of the resources. Those were quick hacks, so I didn't keep any results This is one of the primary reasons that we decided to build a new OpenRISC development board with a bigger FPGA. It seems like all the really cheap ones either don't have enough connectors, or that the FPGA is too small to be useful for an OpenRISC SoC -- Olof Kindgren ______________________________________________ ORSoC Website: www.orsoc.se Email: olof.kindgren@orsoc.se ______________________________________________ FPGA, ASIC, DSP - embedded SoC design |
