I am trying to get the tick timer to work on Or1ksim.

I am using the following testcode as described in an earlier post:

extern int or1k_timer_ticks;
int main(int argc, char *argv[])
{
....
or1k_timer_init(100);
or1k_timer_enable();
....
while(1)
{
printf("or1k_timer_ticks=%d\n",or1k_timer_ticks);
}
}
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The output is:
or1k_timer_ticks= 0
or1k_timer_ticks= 0
or1k_timer_ticks= 0

I have set the upr = 0x00000401 in he cpu section in the sim.cfg file.

Are there any other settings or files to include to add the tick timer to the model?

I solved the problem. Something went wrong when I copied the code and the timer was still disabled.
