Hi,

I checked out the debug proxy application from the opencore SVN. My system configuration is AMD64-bit and Ubuntu10.10 64-bit OS.
When I am compiling it, it is giving the following error::

avamsi@avamsi01:~/OpenRISC$ cd or_debug_proxy/
avamsi@avamsi01:~/OpenRISC/or_debug_proxy$ make all
rm -f or_debug_proxy
rm -f or_debug_proxy_static
find ./ -name "*~" | xargs rm -f
g++ -I./includes -O2 -g -D USB_ENDPOINT_ENABLED=1 src/or_debug_proxy.c src/gdb.c src/FT2232c.cpp src/FT2232cMpsseJtag.cpp src/usb_functions.c src/linux_usb_driver_calls.c -lftd2xx -o or_debug_proxy
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lftd2xx
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [or_debug_proxy] Error 1
avamsi@avamsi01:~/OpenRISC/or_debug_proxy$

Please help in solving this error.

Thanks,
A.Vamsi

Hi

I downloaded libftd2xx0.4.16_x86_64 driver for 64-bit. With this driver, or_proxy got compiled and installed. The driver libftd2xx1.1.0_x86 is not providing the required libs for or_proxy. But libftd2xx0.4.16_x86_64 was listed under nolonger supported column on http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm

Thanks,
A.Vamsi
