Hi,

We are able to work on the newlib tool chain and running the sample c-codes on the simulator(or1ksim). Now we are going to run the same codes on the real HW provided with or1200 build on FPGA ML605. Our doubt is how to get the configuration file for our HW build and what are the files can be changed to provide all the HW related details like reset address, clock, ram sizes, peripheral base address, cache and mmu details. If all these configuration details are provided, we can get the elf for running on our HW.

One more doubt is when referred ::http://www.rte.se/blog/blogg-modesty-corex/writing-application-program , we understood how to create the board file(atlys.S) and creating libboard.a and copying it into board folder and atlys-or1ksim.cfg is being used to run the elf on simulator. Our doubt is that a few details are furnished in the atlys.S files, taken by the complier to generate the elf. But the main HW details of cache, mmu ,ram etc are provided in the atlys-or1ksim.cfg file. Please clarify this confusion and let us know how to incorporate the board configuration file.

Thanks in advance,
A.vamsi
