I want to compile multifile c program and run it on OpenRISC.
but during compile operation I get the following error.

/opt/or32-new/lib/gcc/or32-elf/4.5.1-or32-1.0rc4/../../../../or32-elf/bin/ld: error: no memory region specified for loadable section `.init'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [basicmath_small] Error 1

command used:

or32-elf-gcc -O0 basicmath_small.c rad2deg.c cubic.c isqrt.c reset-nocache.o -o basicmath_small.or32 -lm -mhard-mul -g -T orp.ld

P.S. I have checked it with latest version of or32-elf using svn.
Same problem exists.

miBench? Here are the contents of my make file that works:

FILE1 = basicmath_small.c rad2deg.c cubic.c isqrt.c

all: basicmath_small

basicmath_small: ${FILE1} Makefile
or32-elf-gcc -mboard=ml505 -O3 ${FILE1} -o basicmath_small -lm
clean:
rm -rf basicmath_small output*

Thanks a lot.
You mean that this link file "orp.ld" is not necessary?
I found this link file in original example.
