Hi there,

I have the whole Toolchain installed in my ubuntu machine. I have downloaded the ORPSoC and successfully synthesized the bitstream for a Xilinx ml501 board. I Have successfully program the bitstream into the FPGA but I cannot access using the USB2JTAG provided by ORSoC although I have the successfully installed "libftd2xx1.0.4 drivers for physical debugging JTAG2USB" (http://opencores.org/openrisc,debugging_physical). I have installed the OpenRISC Debug Proxy without a problem.

But I keep getting:

andresjk@andres-desktop:/opt/or_debug_proxy$ ./or_debug_proxy -r 55555

Connecting to OR1k via USB debug cable

init_usb_jtag error 1 Connection via USB debug cable failed (err = 8). Please ensure the device is attached and correctly installed

I want to try a bitstream of the ORPSoC for the ml501 which have been proven to work and physical debug, in order to discard any problem regarding my bitstream file which I'm enclosing too.

If somebody is using the ORPSoC and the ml501 please upload it for me :)

I as far as I'm concern the .bit are not provided. I have not been able to find it at http://opencores.org/or1k/FPGA_Development_Boards though.

Thanks in advance.
