So Jia Liu submitted OpenRISC 1200 patches to QEMU, and it was released with the 1.2 version of QEMU this month. I now have a qemu-system-or32 binary on my system. What fun can you do with it? Are there any disk images or something available to try it out?

This is indeed something noteworthy! Congrats to Jia Lui. I'm not too familiar with this yet, unfortunately, so I'm not sure what software it'd be compatible with.

I have tested some of the earlier patches, and I could boot Linux with it at least

A qemu port has been on our wish list for a long time, so good work on getting this done.
