Hello,everyone!
i have a problem when I install the toolchain ! when i do this step(./bld-all.sh --force --prefix /opt/openrisc/openrisc --or1ksim-dir /opt/openrisc/or1ksim --uclibc-dir uClibc --linux-dir linux ),the compilation explain that libsim.a is incompatible.I don't know how to solve it! My platform : ubuntu12.04 gcc4.4.7 gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DPROFILE=1 -DWITH_PROFILE=-1 -DDEFAULT_INLINE=0 -I/opt/openrisc/or1ksim/include -I. -I../../.././gdb-7.2/sim/or32 -I../common -I../../.././gdb-7.2/sim/or32/../common -I../../include -I../../.././gdb-7.2/sim/or32/../../include -I../../bfd -I../../.././gdb-7.2/sim/or32/../../bfd -I../../opcodes -I../../.././gdb-7.2/sim/or32/../../opcodes -g -O2 -o run \ run.o libsim.a ../../bfd/libbfd.a ../../opcodes/libopcodes.a ../../libiberty/libiberty.a -lz -lnsl -Wl,-rpath -Wl,/opt/openrisc/or1ksim/lib -L/opt/openrisc/or1ksim/lib -lsim /usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /opt/openrisc/or1ksim/lib/libsim.so when searching for -lsim /usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /opt/openrisc/or1ksim/lib/libsim.a when searching for -lsim /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsim collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [run] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/opt/openrisc/gnu-src/bd-elf-gdb/sim/or32' make[1]: *** [all] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/openrisc/gnu-src/bd-elf-gdb/sim' make: *** [all-sim] Error 2 make (all-build all-sim all-gdb) failed. |

I used orbuild and successfully installed the GNU toolchain in Ubuntu 12.04 (gcc 4.6.3)
See my blog for more information: http://www.rte.se/blog/blogg-modesty-corex/using-orbuild |
