Hello all,
Im new to OC I'm an EE student in senior year. I'm planning to use OR in a large project and I'm trying to get started with it. I was trying to install the toolchain following the instructions on the wiki :http://opencores.org/or1k/OpenRISC_GNU_tool_chain#Latest_version

So i'm on the point of just running the bld-all.sh . All the pre-reqs were installed, or1ksim installed fine, I believe (need gnu-stable toolchain needed to run test).

I get this error after trying to run script. I'm on an Ubuntu 12.10 i386, I'm running it on VMWare from a Mac.

./bld-all.sh: line 627: ../unisrc/configure: Permission denied
configure failed.

I even tried to run the script as su. And still get same "Permission denied" error.

Thank you for the help in advance.

Got this fixed, i had copied the files from svn through usb and it removes execution permission. I svn directly onto drive and rebuilt and it worked. Thanks
