Good day,
First of all I congratulate everyone for your contributions. My name is Fernando I'm a Master student in Computer Science in Mexico and am currently doing my thesis: "A MMU design (HW and SW)" is about HDL design and simulation a MMU (try different TLB inputs, sizes, etc.), so I decided to work with open-softcores and Linux with the Altera DE2 2C35F6 board. I've read the OR1200 manual and specifications, done the MINSoC tutorial (wiki-Development) with: -or1200 core -Debug-Unit -onchip RAM -UART, Synthesis and debug the software downloaded and everything works fine. My next step is "MINSoC + Linux" What I need to implement it? (IPcores, capacity and type of memory, bootloader, kernel). I searched but without success. May you tell me some steps since I don't have much experience in SoC and embedded systems. I appreciate the attention and all the best. |
