I have been looking into Waqas Ahmed's MSc in verifying the OR1200 processor for a while.
I was trying to find out if there is any work that targets verifying the peripherals of OR1200 processor such as UART, USB and MAC to discover any possible bug.

I am new in design verification. I am trying to implement at least a functional coverage for OR1200 peripherals and maybe apply the available test cases to identify which part are not covered in the design. I wonder, for UART and MAC for example, what would be the cover points in the functional coverage metric.

Kindly advise me from where I can start and suggest me some good resources that may help.
