Hi all,
I'd like to announce ORCONF 2014, this year's OpenRISC conference. It will be held in Munich, Germany, over the weekend of Saturday 11, and Sunday 12 October. We'd like to extend an invitation to anyone interested in open source embedded systems development. Topics covered during the weekend will include embedded microprocessor architectures, implementations, development systems, EDA tools, software - practically anything in the open source hardware development ecosystem. Find all of the details at http://orconf.org Registration is now open at http://orconf2014.eventbrite.co.uk Call for presentations: We're accepting submissions for presentations, so if you'd like to come along and have anything from a lightning talk slot, up to a 40 minute presentation to discuss some major work, then please follow the proposal submission instructions at orconf.org. It's possible that a workshop could be run over the space of a few hours, providing a hands-on opportunity for the uninitiated. Please get in touch if you'd like to propose to run something like this. Our sponsors: A big thanks to Embecosm who have kindly offered to sponsor the event this year. We're open to further sponsorship in the form of a speakers dinner or similar. Please get in touch if you'd like your name associated with this event. More thanks: A big thanks to Stefan Wallentowiz and Technische Universit¤t M¼nchen for offering to host ORCONF this year in the wonderful Bavarian capital. Equally wonderful, Olof Kindgren and Julius Baxter will also be helping to organise the event, and you can find their contact details on the ORCONF page if you have any further questions or suggestions. If the past events are anything to go by, this should be another great weekend of presentations and catch-up for the community, old-hats and new-faces alike. Looking forward to seeing you there! |
