Hi all,
After installing the adv_jtag_bridge program in Ubuntu, it fails to connect with the Xilinx DLC9 cable. The input command is adv_jtag_bridge -b ./bsdl_file xpc_usb The response from Ubuntu is: Failed to find Xilinx Platform Cable USB Failed to initialize cable 'xpc_usb', aborting. The usb driver is installed correctly. It seems that the JTAG cable is not recognized after check with the command "lsusb -vt". The log is shown as below: ~/software$ lsusb -vt /: Bus 02.Port 1: Dev 1, Class=root_hub, Driver=ehci-pci/3p, 480M |__ Port 1: Dev 2, If 0, Class=Hub, Driver=hub/8p, 480M |__ Port 7: Dev 13, If 0, Class=Vendor Specific Class, Driver=, 480M /: Bus 01.Port 1: Dev 1, Class=root_hub, Driver=ehci-pci/3p, 480M |__ Port 1: Dev 2, If 0, Class=Hub, Driver=hub/6p, 480M |__ Port 5: Dev 3, If 0, Class=Human Interface Device, Driver=usbhid, 1.5M |__ Port 6: Dev 4, If 0, Class=Human Interface Device, Driver=usbhid, 1.5M Is it necessary to install any driver (such as Xilinx ISE) before running the adv_jtag_bridge? Thanks a lot |
