hi
as i know, the linux cnc project is doing all the interpolation and control loops inside the pc software and not in fpga hardware, but they provide a really flexible fpga firmware for cnc machines. it's called hostmot2 and provides a framework of components to be integrated into an fpga. basically they have gpio modules, pwm generators, step/direction generators for stepper motors and encoder input stages. could be helpful for your project. description: http://linuxcnc.org/docs/html/drivers_hostmot2.html firmware download: http://emergent.unpythonic.net/01272896838 |
