Hi all,
I am a newbie on FPGA world. Have done some small projects and now I am starting to work on a LED panel and thinking to use FPGAs to send data from one master to about 32 slave modules in dayse chain, about 10Mb/s. I was thinking to use a serial protocol over RS-485 because I think it´s more simple than ethernet (UDP). Do you have any ideas to help me? Best regards, Maia |

hi.. i think its better to use spi protocol. with using this protocol you can give input simply in sdi pin and connect sdo pin output to another sdi pin input. in this way you can simply cascade more then one module.. actually i worked on that so i advice you to work on that...best of luck.
