Hello. There is an open source GPU project on Kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/725991125/open-source-graphics-processor-gpu As far as I can understand, this is a somewhat updated GPU from Number Nine from the late 1990s. In Verilog. If there's enough money, they'll improve it or even rework from the ground up. Can anybody here give an educated opinion about the viability of this project? Do you think Silicon Spectrum can pull it through? How much is it really worth? Hello.
