I'm currently writting a verilog DISVLIW CPU 9-wide super-scalar. I'm considering releasing an old version, which is 6 wide super scalar, as GPL v2. It's with a working integer back-end and branch predictor, but no cache so far (but there is an AGU port in the reservation station). Will you guys support my campaign when I launch it? The processor is called heptane, but the campaign is not yet started. The released version won't contain any features that I plan to patent.
