Im using the core as target only what if i remove the instance of pci_wb_slave_unit from pci_bridge32.v? removing the instance of pci_wb_slave_unit frees some logic. Do you think it is safe to remove the slave unit if we r using the Core as Target only??? Thanks in advance Regards, Rajan |

Unless you're trying to shave off a gate or two, there is probably no real
reason to remove it.
Simply tie off the slave signals to be deactivated and the unused logic will
be removed by your synthesis tool.
