Hi, every one, I'm really new in using the IPcore Endpoint Block Plus v1.10 for PCI Express, I've configure my, XCV5FX100T on a HTG-V5-PCIE2, Kit board with the default pcie example (four lanes) than comes with the IPcore. I'm using the PCIE_X0Y1 embedded block and the transceivers, GTX_DUAL_X0Y2, and GTX_DUAL_X0Y1, in correspondence with the pcie board bus pins.
the problem is that when I start or restart my pc in order to this recognise the board with the design, it makes nothing, the pc does not boot, the fans turn and everything, but ready to boot beep not sound, and if I unplug the board the pc starts OK. can any body tell me what may be the problem..? thanks |

Hello,
are you sure of the board you are using? Are you sure of your Phy parameters? |

Hello,
You may want to check your BAR settings. We found a board that had a large size default for the BAR and the PC appeared not boot. Using a smaller size BAR window fixed the problem. In this case you could here the PC-Speaker make a faint ckick about every 3 seconds. Regards Peter |
