Hello,
my name is Lukasz Kielbowicz and I am a student of Wroclaw Technical
University. I came from Poland. Recently I have started my first
FPGA design. I want to make a relay card controlled by USB from a PC
host. I have found on opencores a free IP core of USB 1.1 writen by
Rudolf Usselmann, but as I have added it to my project in Xilinx ISE
8.2i and made from it a schematic element, the result was bigger,
than whole schematic sheet and had many inputs and outputs.
I would like to use some easyier IP core, that would have only 2
inputs (USBDP and USBDM) and 12 outputs (8 bit parallel data outputs
and 4 controll lines), like a FT245R
(http://www.ftdichip.com/Documents/DataSheets/DS_FT245R_v105.pdf
page 5).
Could you help me in my design? I would be very pleased, because I
do not know enybody good in FPGA and my colleagues know less than me.
Best regards.
