Thank you for your interest! I truly think this is a fun and exciting project, and I think you will enjoy joining in. Please feel free to join myself and the (few) others interested in the project on the FreeNode IRC channel #openarty. That's where I usually keep people posted regarding the current status, what is changing, how, why, etc.

Indeed, the project is currently in the middle of a vast upgrade, driven by an upgrade to the ZipCPU. Specifically, I'm trying to get the ZipCPU to use 8-bit bytes and to be able to run the newlib C-library. I'd really like to get to being able to read/write files from the SD-Card, but that's a bit farther off.

So please, come join us.
