what the contents of ptpdv2_tx.pcap and ptpdv2_rx.pcap are the same file :

and only master message and event .......

While simulating the top module, it gives error that is:

String Literal Error

The GMII BFM model in TOP and TSU simulation folders are incorrect.
The Preamble and SFD in the GMII mode should be 8B = 55,55,55,55,55,55,55,d5, rather than 4B = 55,55,55,5d.

Wrong Preamble and SFD in simulation

Can the period_adj be negative value (2's complement) and adjust timer backwards?

If yes, is the following line in rtc.v always true?

time_adj_08n_32f <= time_adj[39: 0] + {16'd0, time_adj_00n_24f};  // add the delta

Precise time adjustment

The address decoding in reg.v should not be in bytes, since the address unit in SOPC core is in words.
