peripheral address space should be more flexible #9

The openMSP430 currently supports a peripheral address space size of the power of two. Through this behavior, models like e.g. the msp430f1611 can't be realized because the RAM beginns at location 0x1100. An own linker script would be required. See also http://opencores.org/forum,Cores,0,4953

Hi Simeon,

thanks for reporting this. I will implement the fix shown in the forum as well as a valid support for the verification environment.

I will also provide an "official" way to support any peripheral size through the "Advanced configuration" section so that you don't have to dig into the "Dont't modify" part.

The core has now been updated with the possibility to provide a custom Program, Data or Peripheral memory size (see SVN version 151).
